Shouty Theme
Ta daaa…another free theme is going to make you happy! Shouty is the name of this new, fresh, clean theme. It is suitable for 2.0 bloggers, communities, twitter enthusiasts, with its vivid colors that turn on a lighty layout. The theme is on two columns (center and right widgets are both on the right side), and thumbnails change opacity on the mouseover.
The bp-theme menu is on two rows, and so…this is really really different from the default Buddy Press theme. This version is still in beta (i have problems in uploading images, but maybe it is my local installation issue, so you could please test this). The version come for the RC2 version of BP, and so you cannot use it with the older release.

Very very Good Theme I really like it
I encountered a small bug:

The bar which says WEBLOG in the middle does not have a background. I’ve been looking trough alot of CSS files but i can’t find the appropriate entry.
Can this be fixed with the greysfumato.gif file as background?

Another question. How Do I remove the default message on the homepage about adding widgets?? It’s overlapping the new widgets that I place on the homepage.
awesome theme! Will you be adding threaded (nested) comments to the comment section any time soon?
1) you can use recent blog posts and site activity on the left column and groups, members, calendar on the right. These are the widget i’ve tested, but you test all the widgets.
2) Sure: just use the recent blog post widget.
3) mmmh..this is strange. It does not seem that other websites running Shouty have got this problem. Try with your default BP theme and see if the error is still there.
This is a very nice theme and Im using it on my brand spankin new site (battleshape.com). Im quite a newbie to all this stuff, so if you could help me out on this one that would be really awesome.
I just have a few questions:
1. What are the best widgets to use with this theme??
- I like the setup of anexgo’s site and kinda want mine to be that way too especially with the featured content going on. :) ehehe.
2. Is there a way that my latest blog posts be on the homepage??
3. When i open my first blog post for some reason it takes me to the member tab.

hi anexgo: maybe tomorrow the RC2 official version of buddy press will come out, and it will follow a testing period. I’ll try to solve these problems after that the official version will be released.

One thing I noticed: the picture crop function doesn’t work, in IE not at all and in FF not correct. So it’s not possible to upload profile pics. Please advice how to fix it.
