As you can see we haven’t exactly changed much – er – anything yet around here, but needless to say we have plenty of plans to do so… starting with fixing up FaceBuddy, DarkPress and Shouty!

I’ve changed the theme name in DarkPress 2, but the only significative change is a fading effect on the homepage header. In my opinion DarkPress is the best theme actually out for Buddy Press, and so i’ve done my efforts to keep it compatible with the newest browsers and BP releases.

Please note:  there is a bug, but it should be a buddy press 1.3 bug: using Firefox it is not possibile to correctly crop avatars. It works okay with IE, but i’m waiting until the Buddy Press team will fix this.

Developing themes results an hard work because every release of BP require us to update the code (and Firefox 3.5 adds new problems too), but we never surrender! In the next autumn we are seriously intentionated to give out some new kickin’ass themes, but please don’t forget to donate something through PayPal. We still have a problem with cropping images using Internet Explorer (i need some help to fix it) but i want to release this update since our “fan base” seems to love it

The member theme, that is not complete, is a custom version of the Shouty Theme that you can found here in BuddyDress. I’ve built my own loops to extract posts for category AND tag when needed, and some other tricks. A problem i’ve had was the use of jcarousel scripts because they give some problems with the BuddyPress jcarousel livequery, and so i’m studying a solution to this.
