Introducing the popping pricing table

Our solution is a simple one. One button, you click it and the entire pricing table shows with the 2 options. You then know right there what options you will have on the next screen. No complex maths to work out how many times something goes into something, just 2 options – all themes or just one.

There was also some confusion over our varying price options so we’ve repeated our pricing table for all right in the popping pricing table. We aim to be clear from the start about what you get and what we charge and this change we hope shows just one way we want to listen to our users and those yet to become users.

Michigan State University School of Journalism

Michigan State’s take on BuddyPress is a more corporate style with clear lines and strong branding.  The fixed footer adds a nice element to the site.  We love the consistent look throughout the site for instance take a look at the groups.

Tech Boise

Tech Boise proves what exactly can be done with the default theme when put in the right hands.  It’s simple and not the most styled BuddyPress using the default theme at it’s core but we simply love elements like the interactive header (wiggle your mouse over it) and the fact it takes the BuddyPress default theme and shows exactly it’s potential.

Inksie

Falling into the highly customised category comes InkSie.  This is simply a gorgeous site but at the core again is the structure of BuddyPress we all know and love.  Take a look at the member page styling – the design frames the simple coherent styling wonderfuly.  Aside from the fact we could do some serious credit card damage on this site it’s a great example of what can be done with BuddyPress.

Trib Local

Trib Local possibly is the ethos of a BuddyPress site and that is community.  First off you go here and pick where you want to see – we used Fox Lake as an example of the layout once you have a community selected.  The minimal design hides a complexity of information that is delivered with elegant typography and the air of a true community newspaper.

Plazaa

Plazaa truly takes BuddyPress to the next level showing what a true custom theme can do and opening up possibliities of thinking outside the traditional format we all think of for BuddyPress.  It starts with the effects such as the polaroid screenshots movement and carries on with category styling and onto the simply breathtaking profile pages.

We tip our hat to all the featured designers for showing us all what the potential of BuddyPress is and thinking out side the box with your work.  You raise the bar for us all which can only be a good thing.  We look forward to pushing our own boundaries with our future themes.
